Good stuff Snas. I've given up putting my pots in the Pine while I'm out since all I get is jennies. Must have another go. Did you have a shot at the prawns?

Thanks Kingtin if you need a day out on the water let me know your more than welcome.

Freeeedom I give it go most times im down there but still havent come into any great numbers yet and my new net is to heavy to throw for little or no return, will keep trying though they cant be far away(hopes) as far as the jennys go we got a heap of them to so it was nice to pull the last pot and find 2 of the 3 keepers in it.

Nice crabs mate , were they in deep or shallow water ? last week we got 1 nice male and 4-5 big jennies 19-20cm average the biggest one was 22cm across the shell it was huge . the females were more in the deeper water and the 3 males (1 legal ) were in shallow water at the bridge .
Freedom i got a few (20) big greasys last week casting in shallower water out from snags , it was a bit scary with a new net that close to snags . but the prawns topped off the mud crab .

Hi Nico,I have my pots at a few different depth we got 1 buck in the deep water and the last 2 came from very very shallow water but your right most of the throw backs were in the deeper water ,1 thing i did notice is the number of just undersize crabs we didnt catch this time round.

    Hi Mate,

Some really good crabs there mate, you gotta be happy with those.
Even better that the pot theives left your pots alone too.

    Cheers
