Hi Trev,
we caught 6 fish that day.....a 112cm, a 100cm and the rest between 80cm and 90cm. Had the hooks pull on one that was 100cm plus then coaxed another out of some lay down timber only to get bricked 60mtrs out in the "open" on a single solid verticle stick.....this was the biggest fish for the day around 120cm....Bugger!!!

I haven't been fishing for six weeks as the Fitzroy River has been flooded and the wind has been blowing 25knots constantly on the Cap coast.....so it was good to wet a line and score a couple of fish in such a magic place.

Sounds like you and the southern boys had a great week, plenty of fish and a few laughs.....thats what its all about.

The more I read the more alot of this makes sense to me especially when I look at the water quality figures and methods of attaining them we use in aquariums. Got me comparing impoundments to aquariums a great deal now. I really need to learn some more about barra behavior though.
