King Kev, just been too bloody windy to anything, still at least it gives us all some time to get our rigs up to standard, too much idle time for me, ended up ordering a second boat, if this weather keeps up I'll have a bloody fleet by XMAS.
Hoping to wet a line up at Hinchinbrook next weekend over easter, at least I can go and hide in the mangrove deltas up there and chase some of those amazing hinchinbrook barra. Just hope I can remember how to use a cast net, its been a while and I think that livies are going to do the most damage.
Yes King Kev got the pots slung up under the van already. Serviced all my rods and reels. Sorted hooks and takle box, can't wait to get up there and have a go.
Love the whiting around the Burdekin and a bit further south.
Not into keeping big heaps of fish but do take a feed up to our son in Cairns.
Drop in on the way down the coast later in the year and get a feed to bring home.
