    Best way to prevent mold build up on hand/rod grips please?

    shoudl i spray talcom powder, vinegar or smoething elase?

    I suggest that when you finish fishing that you clean your grips and rod runners/blank with warm soapy (Dishwashing Liquid) water. Ensure that you give them a good scrub and rinse off with water then leave out in the sun for a couple hours to dry them fully out. You them need to store in a dry cool place and not your average tin shed as the heat is a problem.

    I inspect my rods at least fortnightly and remove any grime.

    Sunlight kills mould.

    Don't have any problems with the Texallium handles on my Xmg's , no cork no drama. Warm soapy water wash or a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and soapy water is all they need to keep them looking brand new for ever.IAN
