got a day off work after a hard week. where should i go fishing within 30 minutes of mooloolaba saturday morning for the best chance of catching a couple? (land based)
mate u can try usual places like , cod hole, wharf, boardwalk, if you wanna try somewhere new but i cant garentuee how good it will be , ive been testing out mooloolah river off kawana way, check the phone book map 48 c5 , theres a spot just on the bend you can pull up onto the grass in front of the river.
ive been fishing up and down there with plastics , caught my first flattie on plastic there other day, heaps of snags but i thikn it has a lot of promise.
