    South Moreton Bay Tomorrow

    Hey,

Im planning a trip early tomorrow morn for southern Moreton Bay. Havnt fished this area before. Would like to chase reefies, and was thinkin Macleay island or Peel Island.

Any tips on locations and rigs would be great.

Also, the forcast is for s/se 15-20 kt, lighter s/se winds in southern bay early. seas to 0.9 metre. How will these conditions affect these locations. Will n/w side of Peel be ok? I relise It will be bumpy, but have had my boat in worse conditions. Im in 4.95 metre Stacer

Mate head over to potts point , get in close ( 1.5-2.00m) of water using un weighted hardies or plastics what ever floats your boat ! If there not not there head down to the iron stems ..... I've caught some big squire there & slaties !!!!
    All the best

We dont call the paddock between Peel and Cleveland "the burmuda triangle" for nothing.

Have fun if the wind and tide are against each other.

My dictionary defines green as ‘unripe, immature, undeveloped'. Perfect description.

Most political parties are seen as interested in what the voters think, the Greens are seen as thinking the community should be interested in what they think.

Just take it easy and it will be fine! I'll be 30nm ne of the seaway at Jim's mount chasing blue marlin in a 5.2 m boat so the southern end of the bay should be a breeze!
