Any Moogerah Reports?
The title says it all. Hoping to get there for a couple of days just before the Easter rush. Is it worth towing the tinny?

Re: Any Moogerah Reports?
Kev, Know a bloke that went there 2 weekends ago. 4 of them fished all day casting all sorts of lures and diddn't get a single hit. The next day they went to maroon and scored 10 each to 45cm's mostly on surface lures. Ben

Re: Any Moogerah Reports?
Have heard a few reports on nuthin from Moogerah.
My next door neighbour spent 2 days catching nothing, in frustration packed the boat away and fished off the bank.
He finally caught a fish - an eel. He was there for 3 days for an eel.
Best advice is that Maroon is just over the Hill about 15 mins away.

Re: Any Moogerah Reports?
Hi Guys,
Fished Moogerah last sunday morning early and and got a couple of goldens and a small bass before the wind picked up. The goldens came on a spinnerbait and the bass on fly. Had a few more hits on fly but had too pack up when the wind picked up. Headed up the timber and tried just about everything else in the box without a touch. I got the fish around the steep rocky banks near the gorge.
It seems to be the new favorite spot for skiers- there were a heap out there on Sunday. Maroon would be my pick- I'm going to leave Moogerah alone for a couple more months.

Re: Any Moogerah Reports?
I'm planning to be there Wednesday through to Friday so hopefully not to many skiers. Is it right that your not allowed to shoot them? I reckon just 1 shot at each would be fair.
I suppose morbid curiosity will mean I'll give Moogerah a go but will plan on having a look at Maroon. I haven't been there before.
Thanks for the info gents
