i rape the crap out of that place alot and iv had some great catches there but when its shut down you are wasting your time. if your in ya boat theres nothing they can do. just try and stay out of sight. hard bodys work well and tiny plastics. look out for the cod there as they like to steal ya lures and if your not paying attention they will stich you up every time. i find poppers arnt that efective there but stick baits dominate and if you can get the right angle and speed with your retreve they will hit ya on nealy every cast. i find that the bream only sit in a few areas but i can allways find them but there is a lot of dead spots that look fishy but are just time wasters and never produce fish but after you have fished there a bit you will find where all the hot spots are. the place can be hard to fish at night as they are tuned in to all the crap that people chuck in during the day so iv found the place is shut down on most nights. im all ways there so if you are keen for a flick and want some help i can show ya where they hang out just pm me to t something up.

Ive found the "zoo" a great fishing location with an audience to boot! I have scored well there all but 1 time fishing under the plaza. There are some very decent sized fish that are local there and a few decent cod and jacks thrown in for good measure also. The audience really shows up when you hook something interesting like a little river whaler and boat the critter.

tunaticer , where exactly is the zoo , havnt been on the coast for a long period of time and tend to stay clear from the plaza for fear of spending to much money, hehe

right in the plaza if you are fishing in a boat you are effectively the captive animal on display behind bars at the zoo. Best to fish there on the lower parts of the tide for access under the bridge.

from when you enter that creek to as far upstream as you can go has produced for me well, although in the eatery area is the most productive as lots of ppl berley the fish regularly with hot chips and bread.

    hey mate,
over chrissy break i fished there in my yak a few times, nice little spot for a yak as u can get in amongst the pilons, i found there were plenty of bream that were keen to chase little poppers, managed a trev and also tailor. I fished early morning and found the higher the sun got the more spooked the fish were. didnt have any luck with the placcies tho. I trolled a gold bomber around the pilons, lost 2 lures in 5 minutes on the same snag to some suspected jacks, couldnt stop em on 20pd braid.
its a good spot on it day, esp if you like the extra attention
    cheers,
