    no longer a plastic virgin

    hey guys
back to my adventures of plastic fishing, had an rdo today so decided would once again try my luck. This time instead of squidgies i went and got a pack of 3" minnow grub in pumkin seed colours (you guys on here reckons gulps are easier to use than squidgies).
anyway didnt have much luck at first, i could see bream comming up and checking out my lure but they wouldnt strike, they looked pretty small though, i then decided to chop the head of the minnow and flicked that out instead.
straight away i got a flathead , ok wasnt the biggest but still i caught something, finally my efforts have paid off, few casts later i see a nice flattie come up to my gulp and take it, unfortunalty my eagerness stuck to early and pulled it out of its mouth, wont be doing that again.

but yes finally after so many attempts have finally landed a fish on plastics, now i just have to figure out how to get em consistently buts for another trip

good to here about a success on this method of fishin. I gave the gulp nuke chicken a go last week and had no success, but noticed whilst holding lure in near the ricks a lot of bait fish seemed keen on it.

The first one is the hardest one to catch. Getting more will be easy. Congrats.
