A couple of nice lizards there. Sounds like a great session. Look out Webby is turning to the dark side.
Nah not really, but had my first trip yesterday, chasing a few cold blooded lizards, bloody waters are full of them down here
Yes and they all came on plastic thingies, except the couta made a bloody mess of them
Manage around a dozen between the 2 of us ranging in size from 35-70cm.
Hopefully will get out with Snelly next week fishing the monsters of the deep.
Also have a trip lined up on the east coast off eagle hawk trolling for a yellowfin, blue or albacore.
Then hopefully the cray/floundering session on the west coast, and a scallop/abalone session at Bruny at Easter, and what ever strange fish species happens to be around.

And now to see this...I don't know how much more I can handle...Mod 5..where are you ????

That agenda sounds like a great mix, Get stuck into it and have a great time and keep the reports coming. Looking foward to hearing about these yellowfin etc. cheers
Tassie fisheries have been warned of his arrival and are tailing him wherever he goes.
I can' believe he passed customs. Usually the beagles pick up fish scent from a mile away.

Good sesh webby and good to see yah using those plastic thingies like most of us. Try those plastics on snapper and be pleasently surprised they smash em. Can,t wait to hear more about your holiday adventures it seems more fun than most of us this easter. Cheers.
Good to see the plastics finally came good for you.
Sounds like a piscatorial smorgasboard down there
Have fun

I've caught some big Blues and seen some even bigger Mako's down Eaglehawk Neck way you should do alright there. The scallops off Bruny are everywhere, have to be seen to be believed can catch your limit (50) in about a 10 minute dive, all good size too. Have fun and enjoy.
Cheers
Unbelievable.... Have a great time. Soon as you left the wind dropped out and the spotties came in big time. I spose you've checked checked seabreeze etc though .
Cheers John
They look big enough to be Queensland lizards Webby. I didn't think they grew that big down there. Sounds like a great itinerary you've got planned. I hope you've got enough bundy to keep out the cold - up around Arthur's Lake and the Great Lake it can snow any time of the year
