Theres too many myths and furfries out there regarding Barra, its part of the reason many people struggle.
There really is a core group of keen Impoundment Barra anglers on this site, as well as some guys who do the odd trip, so its good to be able to pass on some knowledge.

Your impoundment bass background is a huge help to you, two of the finest bass anglers I know, John Schofield and Carl, also excel at fishing for dam Barra.
They apply a lot of bass tactics on their trips up here.
There are a lot of similarities between the two species, Im sure you have already picked up on that.
Where they (barra and bass) sit on break lines, weed edges, points and drop offs and what they do in crap weather certainly raises the eye brows.
