G'day all,
I was reading some old issues of Barra, Bass and Bream mags when I came accross a story about Warren Steptoes new rig which is based on the Haines TD149 Traveller. The layout that he has is awesome and I was wondering if anyone knows if this model actually went into production in this configuration and how much one would set you back? The rig really looks the goods for impoundments and inshore work, and I reckon she'd do alright up any of the creeks and rivers fishing for barra and jacks and the like. Just after any thoughts on the subject as eventually I would like to aim at something along the ines of this rig. Find a Signature/Traveler dealer. Hull is variable deadrise from about midships forward.
I think Ian Macrae's performance figs are in kmh, not knots, in that Modern Boating review...
