Fresh caught and crumbed Gar mmmm tasty better than Whiting IMO. Also i caught my first nanni on the swains last year and that was good on the tooth as well.

Anybody that knows me knows i am going to say Whiting have not eaten much reef fish, but here is one that has not had a mention Tarwhine very underated, fresh caught and cooked on beach they are fantastic. cheers Wayne.

Come on you blokes, just admit it, the West Aust Dhuie is the best eating fish that can be caught off the shores of our great island. & at $70 to $75 a kg at the moment that kind of supports it's quality.
