Fishermen wanted for Barrier Reef trip.
Hi, I have organised a week fishing out of Gladstone on the 'TURA' and would like at least another 2 or 3 people to make up the trip and keep the cost below $2000...so far we have 11 starters, and would like a minimum of 14 as the boat accomodates 20.
We are a good group of average to good fishermen and it will be a very enjoyable and pleasant trip, hopefully we have loads of fish to bring back too.
If anyone is interested I can be contacted on 0412 024 025 or in the evening on 02 4655 3002....would love to talk to you and hopefully have you join us.
Thank you,
Ray.

Re: Fishermen wanted for Barrier Reef trip.
Hi, sorry for the confusion, the trip is booked to leave on saturday the 5th July and return saturday the 12th July. So far we have 11 starters but would like another 3 to make a nice comfortable and friendly number, it would also help to lower the cost too, currently, with 11 it will cost us around $1980 each with 16 about $1570 and with 14 our hopeful minimum, about $1750.
Most of us are small business people, retirees or hard working people and sports lovers...ie, there is an.... accountant, slate importer, real estate agent, retired pro fisherman and studmaster, and a couple of people from different industries etc., ages range from about 36 to 69 so we are all what would be considered
"reasonably" mature ,
We have 6 fellas from NSW, 4 from QLD and 1 from WA so far making up the party, I actually have not personally met 5 of the the people coming, they are friends, associates or customers of myself and others that are coming.
We are in the most part, happy go lucky blokes and all have an interest in sport, particularly the racing side, ofcourse we obviously enjoy fishing and having some fun, so if you would like to get involved and have a good time and enjoy some new friendships, please feel free to contact me.

Re: Fishermen wanted for Barrier Reef trip.
Went out on the Tura at the same time last year and it was bloody great. There was about 16 of us and there was still plenty of room to fish. They take 4 dories with them and we took it in turns morning and afternoon shfits but were catching just as much fish on the main boat. Have a good time you blokes would be good to do it again sometime.
Cheers
Kezza
