what type of gas

i am buying a magma gas bbq for the boat there is 2 canister types coleman propane or campingas wats the differance and is one better than the other or is it just the fittings that are diferant thanks

Generally its just the fittings that change between gas canisters. Quite often the gas blend will also change, allowing the stove to perform better in high altitude/colder situations. Hope this helps.
