stick with the flyrod mate any of the normal bass flies will work though this month was going ok on a purple/black baited breath. Spinnerbaits will go ok over the newly flooded areas, some sort of lipless should work too.

Haven't fished it for a while, but normally making your way up the top of the arms and working mid to shallow running hardbodies around the timber and banks will result in both bass and barra. Alternatively work a bit wider of the weed beds and lilly pads and fish down deep with plastics for the schooled up bass. Good luck its an awsome dam

thanks Chewy and Jeremy, went up there yesterday, got up there first thing and headed up the middle arm (suggar bag creek i think) trolled all the way up there stopping to cast a few scum frogs at lilly pads when i got up there the fly rod came out had that out till about 11am when the wind started flipping lilly pads over, after that i was on the spinner baits till 2pm when i started making my way back to brisbane, spoke to a ranger back at the ramp, (think his name was james) who was saying that since the dam went the new 100% level he has only heard of two bass being caught, water was dirty wind was blowing but i will still be back there soon...
