Nice whiting mate
WELL done
Chookman
whats the bait of choice for the big ones down the goldy? Here on the sunshine coast we use soldier crabs in the lower reaches of the rivers and bloodworms in the upper reaches. Interested to hear if its the same down there? i have heard some places down there they prefer live prawns?
Nice whiting there - hope I do as well tonight.
Youngy,
Blinky here mate...
what did that one weigh?
i better have a "dig" at squid now..seeing that he hasn't been for a while because he thinks its a waste of time!
Great feed of whiting Youngy. Thanks for the report.
Cheers,
Wags
well done youngy. You are the whiting guru mate.
Bloodworms?
cheers
Andrew
Youngy, I can't get over the size of those Tings
For most a 40+ fish is a milestone and you get 4

Thanks fella's i must admit i am a bit of a Whiting addict i just love catching them.
Blinky
that one went 650 gr got a 44cm one 700 gr today, they are a little bit skinny at this time of year because they have finished spawning i have 6 here over 40 cm to take to Dave Downie's seminar if anyone wants to see them.
Jeffo
i use bloodworms for my Whiting fishing the prawns you refer to are what we call jelly prawns and they work terrific and when i am to old to dig bloodworms i will be useing them as they are the next best bait for big Whiting IMO.
Cheers Wayne.

Youngy That wasn't you I spoke to at the Isle of Capri Boat ramp last night 1am (thursday night, Fri morning ) was it?
Didley no mate that was not me i got them in the Coomera during the day on top of the tide. cheers Wayne.
