    Newbie Saying Hello

Hey all, just joined today so thought I would drop in and say hello.
I have been on the lookout for a decent fishing forum and this place looks tops to me
I am Brisbane based on the North side, Albany Creek and I have just got back into my fishing again recently.
I am a non boat owner so all my fishing is done around the local spots on the North side eg: Deep water bend, Doles Rocks, Shorncliffe jetty etc...
I get over to Stradbroke once sometimes twice a year staying at Amity Bungalows which is a great place, usually stay for a week at a time (as a matter of fact I am heading over there again this Wed
I am one of the lucky ones who has a wife who loves to fish as well, we just don't get out and wet a line as much as we should.

I hope to learn as much as possible from you guys as I can see there is a wealth of experience on these forums.

    Cheers

Thanks mate, the last time I fished fresh water was when I was a very young bloke living in Oakey and we would try and pick up some yellow belly, but that's about the last time for me in fresh.
