    Sourcing marine electrical components

Hi all. Decided to re-wire my tinny after some advice from the nice people here.

My problem is I live in central QLD and I have access to no shops. Anyone know of a good online store I can source electrics from?

    Im after
A water-proof switch panel mostly around 4-6 switches.
    Tinned wire
    Battery Isolator
    etc.

I have searched alot online and alot of places dont list their product

I've been through the same exercise recently, I bought the switchgear from cascasegps in the states, and jaycar for everything but the wire which i ended up getting from whitworths - all do online sales

Awesome, I live in Blackwater so a trip into Rocky isn't that far.

Mate go onto www.bla.com.au which is the largest wholesaler for marine accessories in Australia. You can work out what you need and actually order them on the site which then gives you the list/option of choosing which dealer you would like the order to go to. Sounds like the best option for your needs.

give them a call first to make sure they have waht your after... i'd had to see you come all this way and they don't have what you want.

There is also Bluefin sports, bascially across the road from them, i think they have marine stuff.. Down at the beach (Yeppoon), you've got a few to choose from.. Cooee Bay Marine on Tanby Rd, nice bunch of blokes. Keppel Bay Marine... hmm. yes. prob have good range, but they don't have a good rap amongst the locals.. Then there is another shop down at Lammamore Beach.. can't think of the name, but they are located behind the only servo down there... can't miss them.
you have BCF in Rockhampton on the north side in teh new Homemaker centre.

and if your interested if you wana go for a quick spin in the boat and fishing up the creek, let me know.
