Went for a yak this arvo in the hope of nailing some bass that have been eluding me of late.Very windy on the water and couldn;t manage to cast small hardbodys around so in the end went to the heavy jackall. Good move too because the bass were keen for it. Started off with a couple of smaller ones about 40 and then scored a good hit cranking it in at warp speed before being blown into the dense lillypads, Fortunately the bass stayed along the edge of the lillys and i put the grippers on a solid 48cm jobby. Paddled back up and drifted rather quickly back to the spot and scored another about 40. Continued this for a while and scored another goodun going 47. In the end a good session with 7 caught. Ben
