    Do you reckon that monster fish has been stocked into Monduran, or a local who has been in the old river sytem for years and now enjoys froliking in the warm, bait abundant dam???

    Just an update I have read the largest recorded barra was more than 170cm and 110 pounds or 51 kgs

    PB 1320 on slab bait last winter no photos but a mate seen it and i have good memorys of a monster that was caught in the local river here in gladstone

    Ken Richardson caught a 150cm barra photographed on 2 fold out rulers ....it was the biggest barra weighed in the Rocky Barra Bounty 2004 or 05 in the Fitzroy River Rockhampton..... my biggest taken was119.5 20.5kg cleaned from Corio Bay in avatar..... all big ones since go back
