Well done Earl you guys did well for short 2 hour sessions.

Were there many boats out on the wknd?

    Cheers Kel & Lyndon.

Well done Earl, good to see you got amongst them. Fish musta started moving into the shallows by the wknd. We fished them hard for nothing earlier in the week, fish were holding in the deeper water.

    Hi Earl, Well done mate.
You didn't have any problems accessing the lake?
Had heard a rumor that GAWB were restricting access to Awoonga due to floating debris.

Was wondering if this was true

    Cheers Tod

    Kel & Todd,

Thanks, Not many boats at daybreak, but plenty when we returned at 8am and the reverse in the evening.

    Tod,

Thanks, GAWB recommended people shouldn’t use the dam due to floating debris, in some cases bloody huge gum trees. When heading out on Saturday afternoon we saw one in the middle of the dam, which I marked on the GPS (yes I know it was drifting), but it gave use a rough idea when we were heading back in the dark. So on the trip back at idle speed we saw a poor unfortunate full fly past us at maximum speed and came to an abrupt halt with the dreaded roar of an outboard out of the water.

No fishing this weekend, went camping at 1770.
