i went 4 a flick as soon as i finished work yesterday morn in maroochy. i hit up the cod hole as iv been getting some good flattys there in the last couple of days. the first thing i notice is all the large schools of mullet acting verry funny. it looked like they where feeding on something on the surface but i had a plastic on for the flattys so i just keeped plugging away and after i worked the hole strech of bank i finaly felt the bump of a nice flatty, i set the hook and line started to peel off my reel, i forght the flatty right up to my feet and got a real good look at her. it was a croc well over 70cm, close to the 80cm mark i recon but the line snaped as i reached down to land it from a big head shake and spiking my finger in the prosess. so i had blood poring out of my hand and no pb flatty. then all them mullet id seen got the crap smashed out of them on the other side of the river by some monster trevs, nocking the mullet clean out of the water. so i riged up a popper and floged the place with that but i could not raise a scail and the trevs where just to far out to cast to, so i was getting sh$tty then i seen the black tips on the fins from a big bream in the water so i put my river to sea rover on and made a long cast along the bank and the lure got smashed on splash down it was awsome but the hooks pulled half way up grrrrrr, i was getting smashed over and over again by these bream but i could not keep the hooks in them, droping 7 or 8 real good bream. i was having fun but it was so frustrating droping so many fish. by now the sun was up and i was getting sleepy so i chucked it in defeted to get some sleep.
