    Monduran 23rd-24th Feb

    Hi Ausfishers,
Yes another Monduran report i know but here it is for those who want to know how the dam is fishing. Arrived at dam 11.30pm Friday night. Like always around the full moon campers and boats everywhere. After a midnight coffee and discussion we decided that our plan of attack would be to hit the shallows and flats with surface lures and fizzers.

Hit the water at 1.00am, after several hours of casting and half hearted hits with no solid hook ups we decided to move around sounding out fish for the morning bite. Day break saw the first barra hooked only to throw the hooks to fight another day, followed by another 3 jump offs. So decided to head into camp for bite to eat around 10.00am.

Afternoon session (3.00pm) produced 1st barra of 118cm with 2 more jump offs.
Back in just after dark when we saw the light show on the horizon.

Late start sunday morn 7.30,with windy conditions.Fished shallows out of wind and found cooler water temp around 27.8deg which produced another two fish of 110cm & 83cm.Lost another fish that took a liking to some nasty underwater country.Back in at 11.30am.

    Cheers Wayne <:{{{{{><
