    Monduran First timers

Well we've got harbodies at different depths, colours, alot in golds and silver, noisey rattlers and plastics and we're off tommorrow for 4 days to monduran. !st plan of attack is to call into foxies and try to pick up a few tips and pick up a few of his favorite lure choices. Apart from reading posts and trying to find a few clues we're still virgins,so any PMs or advise would be appreciated.Cheers

    Hey mate'
we only got a couple sat arv one 96 and one 99 but out lure of choice was a drop bear 150 fish on a 6/0 resin head. also heard slick rigs accounted for a few.We found a few fish but we also found it hard going in the sticks.Even Harded to find somewhere on your own.

Mate hard dam to fish at times but have had great success on casting Squdgie pro series in drop bear in B and trolling Gadens f18 in Elton John on chrome is a winner for us. But haven't been up since the big rain so could throw our game out. You got to try everything.

    Chief

What are you doing up there in the fresh
Must be to give a good rinse to the outboard to get all that river c$%^ out of it

I intend to try those big barra on at the M&G so I might have to pick your brain when you get back

    Good Luck

PS Try a Turtleback Worm in P'seed just for the hell of it

Good luck down there mate. I reckon you'll only need to get 1 and you'll have the bug. impoundment fishing is cool . Pretty heart in your mouth stuff at times. Nothing beats a barra smacking your popper (or subsurface offering) out of nowhere, wether the hooks stick or not, and if they do stick you're hoping she doesn't thread you through the timber or pull the hooks on ya or any of the other multiude of scenarios that makes barra fishin so much fun.
