    Mud today

Rang a few mates last night about going to mud this morning after fueling up at 4.30 pick them up from burpengary and narangba and headed to shorncliffe launched the boat ans warmed her up then conked out and light came on check engine had a look at a few things and tried again and again would start but not idle at a low speed anyway moved the throtlle and light went out so thought it was just nearly in gear so decided to motor out past the leads gave it a bit of grunt and only went to 3000 rpm not happy JAN AS IT TRIED THIS TRICK WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT THE BOAT A FEW WEEKS BACK AND LAST WEEKEND AND AGAIN THIS MORNING any i put her in neutral gave her some revs but running rough as so backed it off took fuel hose off pumped up the fuel tried again just as rough but after a while it would settle down give it a few more revs and and rough again this went on for 10 minutes any decided to head back to the ramp and felt the motor surge a bit then go rough so i turned the boat around and headed back out and put her in neutral again put the revs up for a minute chucked her into gear and away we went at full revs ( stuffed if i know what the problem is had a mate on board who is a marine engineer who thinks it is either electrical or a injector sticking because when it goes eventuly it doesn,t miss a beat for the rest of the day and runs good, any way we got to mud and hour after i wanted to be there first cast got a tangle on my new rod so put it aside and got the back up out we ended up getting 4 sweetlip 35-39 1 very nice 55cm cod and 2 bream and 1 sandcrab for the day all in all a great day and back at the ramp by 11.30

Everyones nightmare. Well done on pushin through it cause it could have cost a heap finding out if you had just returned asap. My brothers boat years ago had similar and the injectors were clogged and only giving half throttle. Good day at mud. I was told the north east side right out near the last marker is a good spot to try for big snapper passing through.
