    Reels need service T'Ville?

    Before i go and buy another reel for myself i decided to spend the money and get all my reels serviced and plus a couple of rods that have broken tips. Does anybody know a good service-man in the townsville area?

    Pro Tackle on Dalrymple service road are the Shimano and abu agents for Townsville. I think the Fishing warehouse is daiwa and penn, not sure on any others

    yeah just take it to pro tackle, they are pretty good there, seem to know what they are talking about and have competitive prices.

    Pop in and see Danny.

    They have just moved to the new shop - Building 1, shop 8, Domain Central, 103 Duckworth Street, Garbutt QLD 4814.

    This new store will be the biggest fishing tackle outlet in Townsville !!
    Two to three times the size of the old shop.

    I will take them all in. I thought there may have been an old gun out there that does them as a hobby. A bit like my grandfather if he lived up here. But then again if he was like my grandfather he wouldn't be using a bloody computer.

    mate had his HRF serviced after it had an unscheduled swim in the yellow shop across the road from Bunnings - and was happy with the price and quality.

    sorry, can't remember the name as in the week before we went to Weipa last year we went into every fishing and boating store in T'vlle and environs at least 4 times as he fitted out new boat and acquired new gear.
