      G'day

      Whyte Island is the go,

However you will have no worries at Aquarium Ave. at builimba ck.

I've not encountered anything suss there, apart from the limited parking.

At least with a midday run, the tide will be pretty full

I've been up that creek in a 10' inflatable within 100M of westfield carindale, so you can go a hell of a long way.

Parking is limited and the ramp is only one lane, but not many people us it. I've caught a few crabs in the creek (upstream near the bridges). It's a slow trip in the creek, upstream or down - 6 knots because of all the boats moored.
