Any Mangrove Jacks latey??

Hello all,

Just a new member to Ausfish. I live on the Goldie. Was wondering how the fishing has been of late. With all this rain the rivers make it a bit messy.

Also with this Heat i was wondering if any lucky buggers have claimed any Jacks?

Would love to see some pics.

With the increasing humidity they should be starting to really fire up!
Lost one this morning in the coomera river - last half hour of incomming tide on sp's. I now have a new landing net, and will be back again tomorrow!!!

Welcome Cappy, To much fresh in the rivers at my spots, haven't even thought of trying for jacks for weeks and weeks. Was good before the rain, though.

Welcome Cappy, same as Didley too much fresh has made for slim pickings.

There out and about mate the fresh has not put em off in my spots, just work out your tides and you will have a good chance.

First of all welcome mate,i've actually seen a few caught around Gladstone,i personally didn't think there would be any because of the fresh but i was wrong

Yeah the fresh has that effect on fish. But you know the saying.

But good luck fellas going to be with the murky water. Still rather be fishing than working.
