Logan River - 21st Feb 08

Well folks took the boatr with the new (but old) 15hp Johnno out on the Logan today for a test run. Didn't take any rods as I had the old man with me and well, he doesnt have the patience for fishing. Anyway when we arrived at Alberton boat ramp, we were greeted with falling tide and water so brown it looked like will wonka's chocolate river!

Went cruising up to around Skinners Ramp then back down toward the mouth. Water quality slightly better nearer to mouth but still i wouldnt waste my time fishing it. Saw a couple big arches on the sounder but not too much else.

Hopefully the river clears up more in the next few weeks.Forgot to mention also that there was a pile of glass at the parking area... Looks like thieves decided to smash someones window to grab something while they were out... the losers.
So be careful.
