Monduran Advice.

hi everyone,
im deano , a new member, heading back up to monduran on fri 29th feb,any info on how dirty the top section of the lake is ? i hear alot of people are just trolling the main basin for fish but i would rather get up the back and flick the timber, any info would be great . i hear it is up about 4mtrs since i was there in january..any water temp info out there.????

Have a friend who is at the dam at the moment & was talking to him at 5.30pm today - has been there since Monday. Said that the old ramp near the park is in use & has been catching a couple each day some over the mtr. Have been catching them in the basin (full moon tonight) but fished up around H & J today & got a couple, said the water temp is up around 30 deg. Didn't ask about water colour etc & he didn't make any coment about it either. Said that today was the first really sunny day so far & got really sunburnt so not out on the water this arvo. Said he has not noticed any rise in the dam since he has been there, all sounds pretty good- am heading up there 0n 14 march for 8 days so hope it all stays good - can't get more up to date than that, hope it stays that way.

cant get much more up to date than that..cheers. will be there next fri morn so prob have a good look around then and get an plan for the rest of the weekend,will let you know what happens . thanks again.

hi deano, also new member was there sunday to tuesday morning with my son,hooked up, my son got 2 and myself 1.Tried casting but no luck resorted to trolling with everyone else,bout thirty boats trolling main basin like peak traffic in brissie on busy day ,but great time with first barra for both of us.temp was only 25-26 degrees.

good on ya raydog, nice fish..how deep are you trollin.? been told with so much water in flow alot of fish play follow the leader in a big circle round the dam wall thinkin there gonna get down stream. sounds like there is a few fish holding there. cheers deano.

Water temps rising and clearing up very quickly upstream as no reel inflow for a while, Deano if we have no more good rain between now and next Friday should be near dam perfect. Just a lot more new country to explore and fish.

cant wait to get up there, should be a fun weekend if the weather stays like this it will probably be pretty busy, but like you said it will be good exploring all the new ground and theres plenty of room for everyone..cheers deano.
