Dams are still going up!!

Well its great to see Monduran going from 18% to 37 % I was there over the wek end and water was still rising and with more wet stuff comming one can only hope for a bit more the 37% also Awoonga has got some well deserved rain and the level is getting up too. Callide got a little it has got to 10% after havering at 8 % for ages, and many more dams are also getting a bit here and there, the only one that has seemed to miss out is waruma but hopefully it will too get a drenching in the near future.

Keep on Raining, yep it may be a bit of a pain in the bum but a full dam is a godsend to all of us including what swims in it.

The longer the current weather conditions hang around the more chance the dams have of getting a drink. Water in the dams is like money in the bank. You can't use it if you haven't got it.

I'm all but over the bloody rain it's great for the dams/land but up here in Mackay we say enough is enough. got to see a full day of sun today though so that was pretty sweet. Hadn't seen it 4 a while.
Hope it keeps on raining further south where it's needed 4 all the fisho's down there. Would be great to see all qld dams at or near capacity.

i heard tonight on the news that our dams in seq could decline as quick as tomorrow if we dont get any rain soon. It was just one of those update things that they run, i didnt hear the whole story.

Hey when the rain stops wouldn't the dam still rise from all the run off sunning into the dam ?? all those feeder creeks etc etc

im deano a new member and also reside in coolum,i was up at monduran in january for the first time, so i guess the place will look totally different when i get up there next week... with all this heat they have forcast this week hopefully we should have a good weekend..will post a report when i get back.cheers.

Hey craig I would say so, the river running on the north side of Gin Gin was still flowing so the ones running into the dam would still be going aswell, with this weather the dam is set to sizzle,

Hey deano mate you will have a ball foxie was saying the temps are already on the way up. It will look a bit differrent to mate around 5.5 meters more different.
