    Smile Monduran, a troller's dream

As has been said trolling was the go but rewards do come to the flickers aswell, friday arvo got a nice 105 cm in bird bay flicking the fringes, had a troll for three otheres 101, 83, and one in the seventies diddn't bring him aboard. I also got bricked with a capital B in B section I diddn't even tilt his head.

The dam was looking A1 after the late rain from B on was really dirty but the new ground once settled will be fantastic fishing in a two to three of weeks if they don't get anymore but I hope they do get that level right up

Good to meet more Ausfishers aswell made the camp much more entertaining.

    Untill the next trip

    Gidday Nath

Well done mate, those couple of metreys make the trip gold I'm heading up tomorrow night until Sunday...still making a plan of attack. Casting is the priority. How was the water quality up in B? It will be interesting to see how much it has changed in a month.

Are the channels still clearly defined between Bass Strait and B? Or are there some hidden prop wreckers just under the surface?

Thanks mate and good onya for giving the C&R "gaff" rednecks a gobful What are some of these people thinking when it comes to carefully handling fish.

    Cheers

Nath, looked at that basin trolling piccy and couldnt see my boat in it mate, what happened

Good on ya for getting a fish on the cast, better than us, we looked at B on Sat arvo and only managed a catty.
Thought you were getting a little peeved at the mobs lack of respect for the fish they were catching on Sunday arvo when you went past us, nice work re the blast to the goose
    cheers

yep after seening the slaying of so many fish sunday, there were some tied to the boats throught the lip still kicking, I now know why I get right up in the thick timber areas to stay away from fools like them, whitto saw one bloke bring his back to the ramp for a quick photo op and when whitto asked him about it he had caught it five minute prior and once photoed he was then going to dump it, needless to say whitto told him a little bit ........

Well bit of luck the fish will retreat to the stick well away from these narrow minded nit wits.

mate there are a few tree tops here and there but the cuttings are still easy navagated but its the free floaters that are a bit of a worry, pulled a big one to the edge friday night in the main basin hardly see it till your on it, but Monduran is that lake you never know 100% theres always a stick you seem to miss 99 times but the 100th you get it, so due care is always the safe approach.

Quality wise, dirty as in B section onwards but each day it will pick up just needs a bit of temp in it to intise them to play. the further the worse Brian went to F and it was real dirty up there. When it does settle its going to be AWSOME.

Good luck mate, hope you get into them

Monduran firing on all eight, basin still fishing well but the hot days [35] has raised the water temps by 4 degrees and the dirty water up top of the lake settling quickly and producing good fish.

    Cheers Foxie
