6lb or 8lb Fireline

My take, started off on 4lb fireline then went to 6lb castaway, with a 4lb trace, if fishing plastics i use two basic outfits, one with the 6lb and one with 16lb with a 14-20lb trace,, and try that castaway stuff, IMO way better than than the fireline, theres a thread on it here,

Without a doubt more expensive than fireline ( FL...$20ish Vs $50ish) ..... The same goes with Other quality true braids ie Bionic , Nitlon , Yamoto ($60ish) , Daiwa Sensor ..... All great braids , head & sholders above fireline(IMHO)

True. 4lb crystal and 4lb Nitlon I will never use again!!!!!

I find 4lb fireline to be excellent.
