Bedford Weir

Couple of shots of the Weir. 1st is December last year after some good rain and the 2nd is today. Plenty of water still flowing down the Mackenzie.

Hi all,

That is only a drop in the ocean compared to the leves it got to. At one stage the water at the weir wall was over 1km wide. I think from memory there was 18m of water going over the road at the toe of the weir. Bloody impressive. Will see If I can find some photos tomorrow and post. There is still 0.4m of water going over the wall at Fairburn as we speak. Will be magic for the system in the long term
