    John,
Humminbird US have been more than helpfull, especially Keith Councell (Humminbirds Quality Engineer).....they have provided me with the trial software to hopefully fix the problem, like you i just need a break in the weather to test it out.....hopefully this weekend!!

    Nomad and Keskass

Took the boat out this morning to try the new software.
Officially to the wife I was crabbing but the results didn't back me up, 1 sandcrab.

Works very well. No loosing satellites and no 'no gps fix' message.

Theres also a couple of new features.
The current track isn't lost when the unit is turned off.
Waypoints reduce in size over a certain zoom level. Greatly reduces screen clutter though I havn't worked out of there are any adjustable settings for it.

    regards
    John

Dunno if you guys have come across this site before "Unofficial Humminbird Forums" It has a host of great info and answers to technical and software questions. The Humminbird guys are regular posters. The site is mostly devoted to SI units.

    Hi Blinky,
yeah i do go to that site from time to time.....some great info on there.

There is another site that has the same Humminbird guys on there as well, it is

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sideimaging/

as the name suggests it too is mainly for sideimaging....but the guys on there are more than happy to help with most Humminbird issues.

I'm still having problems with my Matrix 12 and my mate is having problems with his 787 after two antenee. My 777 still interfers with my Garmin GPS. None of my issues nor my mate's were resolved. Should have stuck with Garmin.
