With a well soaked Awoonga catchment, anything we receive in the Boyne Valley now will be direct inflow.
Approx 20cm top up late last week (the first top up since cyclone Benny), and now good rainfalls yesterday, today with more predicted we are all hopefull the dam will get a significant fresh.
Absolutley belting down at present.
Hope it can stay like this, everywhere needs a good flush.
Awesome cell along the Northern seaboard.
Rain you bastard!
Cheers

Getting good rain here at Monduran as well, about time keep sending it down this way Jas. Should get good inflows as every creek and river was still running from last lot. Monduran up a couple of feet, 60cm in a week.
Cheers Foxie
Great news Jas. But it's got me a bit nervous, as I'll be up there this time next week with Reg and Deano. Could be boom or bust fishing with a major inflow. Hopefully it rises and the fish are up and active over newly flooded ground.
Yeh Foxie went past your joint today on a return trip to Hervey Bay. Pissing down!
Wow there is some water around, and some good run off about for sure.
I'll be on Awoonga tommorow to have a sticky beak at the inflow and check out the water quality, dissolved oxygen and temps.
Will post a report tommorow evening.
Tiges, Reg will sniff out the barra's mate, you'll be right.
Cheers

Monduran has risen close to 2 metres since yesterday and still rising steadly, should be able to use dirt ramp near the cabins now, less ramp rage. After it settles a bit we will have ahole new fishery to try and work out again.
Thanks for that Foxie.
Awoonga too has come up over 2 metres, a bloody awesome sight and still rising.
A brief 2 hour session at 2pm yesterday with my lil sister fishing saw 5 landed and 5 missed.
Plastic topwaters and slick rigs worked for us (her really) I only fished for half an hour she was having a ball. It poured rain the whole time.
Fish were between 80 and 95cm and she lost a 110 after an arial display.
Flooded grass and basin fishing was the key, inflows were not checked, lots of debris in the water.
Basin readings with my DO probe were very good. Lots of life in the water, frogs, lizards etc.
Cheers
