Re: top 5?
Nah, i will need some lures for the girl to try out when i am teaching her how to catch barra. Hopefully she will show her old man that all those Barra classics with no trebles on them are barra magnets!!!!!! Dad please put the trebles back on!!!

Re: top 5?
1. Flick Cobra 15+ in chartruese for trolling. Sub a SMAK Blitz Baga 15+ in black/gold if you can't get a Flick.
2. 5/8oz SMAK Proselect spinnerbait, tandem blades, gold willow, silver colorado in either black, purple or white tones for casting or trolling. Any similar 1/2 or 5/8oz from Bassman as well.
3. TN-60 Jackal in Ayu or Ghost Wakagashi for casting or trolling. Equivalent Ecogears are better for trolling and around the edges casting the TD-Daiwas don't give much away to TN-60s some days. Heaps of good colours. Fill your tacklebox.
4. Mask Vibes for hopping/Jigging. Not that up on colours these days. I am sure someone will chime in.
5. 5/8 Dam Hot Jigtek Jigheads by Berkley as designed by Matty Fraser with smoke/yellow core 3" Slider tails for casting to Bass.
6. There really needs to be a 6th place, and that is for ice jigs. We started off with the Rapalas then the Rahuas came along and there are all sorts of brands like Nilsmaster getting in on the act for jigging.
That should cover you for SE Qld. Just need variations in colours, sizes and weights.
If you add Barra in there you need the deep Richo Extractor in gold/white for casting, Barra Classics in all sizes/depths/colours for casting and trolling and Predatek Vipers in Bleeding Mullet or gold for trolling. Also B52s to keep everyone happy in gold or silver.
