Sand Pumping Jetty.
Hey, Went for a fish at the Spit today. It was extremely windy and the current was strong. I was using Bait Jigs size 4 with peeled prawn on the hooks.
I threw my line in near the pylons and wished for the best, I then go smashed by a big Silver Trevally and it starts screaming of my 8lb line... Took me near the pylons then down below the jetty and all sorts, I then lift the line up and land the fish. After that caught lots more fish such as 2 Silver Trevally, 5 Dart, 6 Butter Bream. Some blokes also caught a Morwong on Prawn.
All fish released except 1 Silver Trevally which I gave to a mate who's bucket was full to feed his family.
Pictures are below,

Well done, I thought there would be some fish down there after the big seas.
How far up the Jetty did you go? Did you go past the first washing station that's on the left hand side or was you half way before the pipes bent down near lamp post on the right hand side. I thnk you must be almost at the end of the jetty or about 50 ft from the end?
Nice fish though.
