Good question - we chased bait balls all over the bay today - heaps of gulls, But nothin! Spent a good 1/2 hr pegging everything we had in the middle of one huge one off the tip of Bribie this arvo & bugger all! (except a sore arm) - typical, good weather & the buggers have packed up shop! Cheers Sammy
I thought the bait schools would be still around, bit surprised nothing was feeding tho.

Yeah, about 10 boats working & no one hooked up - nothing was even breaking the surface! We thought for sure we would get something - Oh well next time sammy
Guys whats the water quality like in the bay after the rain weve had...could be the reason they have not showed..Been nothing on show on the mack grounds off the GOLDY all year.. frustrating

Anyone scoring them from Hervey bay or Shoalwater bay?

There were some monster bait ball on the outside of bribie yesterday and a few boat working them, no one hook up and they were mixed tunas. we saw some free swimmer about but the score is zip atm. first time in many summer that has happen.
