    Maroochy River. Pikey Bream

Not sure if it's the recent rain, or just the time of year but the Pikey Bream are on the bite. We have picked up a few nice fish recently.

We have fished the runout tide, late morning with the humble frozen prawn as bait.

A bit more looking around, and Slate Bream seems to be the correct ID. Good fun on the light outfit.
