soft plastics for trevally
what soft plastics are good for trevally, caught a couple on some cheapies that came with a tackle box, but i haven't been able to find some real good ones

There is not much trevally wont inhale, grubs, jerkbaits, paddle tails, you name they all work.

I was told Sliders, clear with a Gold fleck. Plenty of vibration

hi i have caught one on a berkley gulp sandwormin natural cut down to 3" and lost a monster on a berkley gulp 2" shrimp in natural.

Mate, the best SP for Trevally we use here is the Gladiator Prawn. Especially this time of year when the prawns are on the move.
They're a tough plastic, smell like crap, but are only $6 a pack.
Matched with a 1/4 oz jig head, they are deadly.

at a rock wall in yamba at christmas time a mate and i were catching trevally on 3 inch atomic jerkshads in metal/pearl, and a rubber prawn imitation in rootbeer colour.

christmas just gone was my first visit to yamba and i was impressed with the many options for land based fishing. we caught flathead, trevally and whiting all on plastics.
