Whats the Pin/Jacobs well like for boating at the moment - water quality

Hi all - thinking of taking the wife and kids to the pin for a swim and a muck around on the weekend. Few weeks ago with all the rain the water was murky and no fish biting except cats....has it changed?

With all the recent rain, probably not

Went from skinners ramp up the Logan, down to Slipping Sands 2 weeks ago. Still very murky, even down at slipping sands. But did begin to clear up on the incoming tide. That was before the latest bout of rain though, so will still be murky.

I was there on the week end - still brown

We departed the ramp at 8 pm Friday night ... returned late Sunday night.

Water was pretty crappy all weekend. The people in our group (5 boats) caught very little .... stingray, couple of bream. Even cast netting was not very productive.

Bit of weed around still, as well.

Great weekend out though .... weather was great.

The water didnt look to bad today (monday) on the flood, (apart from the wind)
