hey all that info is awesome. just curious, come the colder months july/august do you still get mackrel in the wide bay channel between inskip an fraser?

Lived at Tin Csan now for 6 months now. Rodman is spot on. Work your tides and your sounder and find the drop-offs. And leave some for me.

do you have gps?the area between inskip and hook points can be easily navigated in a twelve foot tinny in good weather.there are numerous reefs and ledges in the sandy straights as you head north,we have caught snapper between the mouth of kauri creek and tinnanbar in the main chanel drifting in100ft of water using livies.If you venture up kauri creek in your tinnie upstream of the logdump camp area and boatramp is a green zone(Bastards,there are some awesome rockbars up there).
