Hi M8,
I got two rods here at home that are more than capable of this.My old CBR 781 will handle this no worries,Aswell as my Megabass Espada.I have used them both on the very lures you mention. They are also both easily able to cusion down to 4lb lines. And if ya want some real hurt,Just flatten the curve,And add thumbs

.
I'm fishin 10lb Sensor over my Steez now,And am very happy.I recently threw some 20lb over it and it was still very good.
I've tried alot of manufacturers,And varying sized braids in my Bassin. And I think the terrain should almost be ya determining factor in selecting ya stopping power,Poundage.
At one stage I was regularly gettin hosed on 15lb Sensor despite puttin some serious hurt over the rod

.But to their credit,These were big smart Bass in gnarley country,And they were beatin me fair and square

.
My top three recommendations through first hand use are :-
12lb
Bionic (Thin for a 12).
10lb Daiwa Sensor Braid.
8-10lb
Platypus Super Braid.
The above strengths will give ya reasonable backlash security when usin TN/60's and other lures up to,And around the 1/2oz range.I've also sent the odd one over the horizion with these braids,But it was the 16lb leader that let go on both occassions,And not the mainline
