    help me pick baitcasting combo's

hey after having an amazing session catching over 50 bass in two 3 hour sessions i have decided i need some more tailored fishing gear.

i was using my 2500 advantage on my t-curve which handled the bass on but was starting to get annoyin casting and so i think i need a new baitcasthing combonew bait casting combo.

i bought a combo from mossops today which was a diawa advantage 153 on a pflueger 4-7kg rod which i will start using asap. but i would like a spare.

i have done som reading on the net on all the big companies site and have some querries on my "back up" or second setup.

can some one please give me some of the combo's they are using as idea's for my new one?just new to this type of gear...

budget is about $220 for rod and $250 for reel.

    thanks in advance. jared

I have a great bass reel in a Chronarch 100b in the for sale rods and reels section, and i may be able to equip it with a rod for a good deal, Pm me if interested.

For my two bobs worth, I reckon for a top combo buy chrisanglers Chronarch and the IM8 Daiwa rod I have advertised a couple of pages back in the for sale section. Would be under your stated budget, and a top combo for what you're after.

I use a TD Advantage 153SHST on a Cronarch 5'10" 3-6kg rod for bass, works perfectly, retail around $350-$400 for combo T-Curve rod would be nicer though... and still in your budget.
