Went back to the spot on the gold coast after buying yet another Jackall and got my revenge,landed these 2 good size bass but they didnt have the weight of the ones that busted me off in the morning but the still made hard work for me,also got my smallest bass yet, he must be one angry little fish hey?

I have caught quite a few Bass, mainly from North pine dam but have noticed that a lot of the big ones (50cms over) don't fight as hard as the mid 40cm fish. this came to my attention during the one and only tagging session in there. I caught my first bass on Soft plastic during this session and it was also my PB at 56cms. my next cast landed a 45cm bass that would have turned my PB inside out
Have others noticed this with the bigger bass? or have I only ever managed to hook the big old fat ones over 50cms that don't want to fightlol
What else is in the system your fishing that it could have been? the Yellows get quite heavy and put up a good fight.
