Dave Rackerman , Nic & Bob........well done you lucky buggers.
Good to see you sussing it out up there.
You'll start looking like a nanny soon Dave...... instead of a cricketer.
One of these days I'll get up that way and annoy you.
Got a trip coming up to the Wessels shortly so hanging out for that .
Cheers Col
Thanks for drawing the comparison Steve. I'll take it as a compliment Though I am sure I am better looking than big Carl
Bob... no worries, anytime you wanna make the journey you're always welcome. Oh, and htfu. I don't want anymore whinging next time a fish spikes you.....
Col, I hear you've been off treking around somewhere remote. Come and annoy me anytime you want.
Regards,
Dave.

To think that I actually turned down a fishing trip out wide on sunday for a little R&R.
Great fish there Dave and congrats all on your PB's. That Nanny is a horse!
As for the trout... You'll normally have more luck for trout up on the shallows around the reefs, ie. around 15-30m rather the deeper water on the shoals/spoil grounds which I'm guessing these reds are coming from.
You pulled any red emperor from your spot yet??
Cheers
Josh
Thanks Josh. Yeap, Nic's nanny was a great fish. So far no reds, but I'm hoping. So far as location goes..... you're warm-ish.
Regards,
Dave.
