    Jindalee Bridge 25/1/08

Hi guys, a mate and I hit the pontoon next to the bridge on Friday night hoping for a bull shark or a threadfin with out any luck. Was surprised on not catching and even getting a solid run from the bullies, all we caught was about 20 fork tail catfish between 10-40cm (god they stink!). We put 4 pots out but only managed 2 under sizes muddies.

    Cheers, Mick.

Drove past there an hour ago and there was a bloke on a deck chair with a rod. Looks a comfy spot. Good for a swim too. Bullsharks - what bullsharks lol.

Yeah we never come across those "god damn ells" Just those bloody catfish!

Is there some kind of ledge or sunken tree about 15m in front for the pontoon? cause we would hook up sometimes but would end up getting snagged in the same spot.

    Cheers, Mick.

OLd ski boat that got swamp there in the early eighties, the owner of the boat lives on the otherside of the river about a kay down stream.. As for the shark you need to keep your bait floating in the water column otherwise you're just feeding mossies.
