Most of the service prices posted up seem o.k to me.

My first 20 hr service for a 115 Opti Merc was $170.
Annual service (without plugs) inc impella, oil, leg removal is around $380.

A big service (approx every 300 hrs) replacing plugs, compressor belt could likely go over $600. Cheers Craigie

My last service of a 130 Yamaha 2 stroke including some repairs to the seals on the trim cylinders was about $800. The cylinders cost me about $300 or so.

Service included 2 thermostats that were $100, plus a few other extra ticket items.

    Everthing is expensive with boats.

    Cheers

    Re: outboard servicing pricing

A friend of mine was quoted $120 per hour for his 115 zook 20 hr serv , plus parts. Service ended up costing him $300+ 2 hour drive each way for the service. I dont know the particulars of what was done but thought it a little rich because according to him, there's near nothing to do but checks on a 20 hr serv.
